Adobe Women’s FA Cup fever has arrived, with the Clarets welcoming Norwich City to Lancashire in the second round this afternoon.
Ahead of kick-off, which is the earlier time of 1pm, there’s no better way to prepare for the action than by reading our digital matchday programme.
Inside the latest edition of ‘Turf’ you can hear from Head of Women’s Football Lola Ogunbote, who looks back on the team’s successful return to Turf Moor last week.
She also highlights the importance of the work the players do in partnership with Burnley FC in the Community following recent visits to two local primary schools.
Interim Manager Lou Roberts gives her take on the 2-0 victory over Derby County, before detailing what she’s expecting from her players this afternoon.
Our exclusive player interview is with Aimee Kelly, who reflects on the positive mood within the camp following a healthy string of recent results.
The striker also looks back at her involvement in our Adobe Women’s FA Cup first round tie against Blackburn Rovers, in which she scored the second of the 12 goals.
Additionally, you can get to know summer signing Millie Chandarana in our ‘This or That’ feature and hear from striker Charlie Chadwick, who looks back at her footballing journey in ‘Player Insight’.
There’s also an in-depth look at today’s opponents, who operate at fourth tier level under the guidance of Head Coach Andy Cook.
