Burnley Women raise the curtain on their 2024/25 campaign against Hull City Ladies this afternoon, and there’s no better way to prepare than reading our digital matchday programme!
The game takes place at Nelson Football Club’s Daisy Communications Arena and kicks off at 2pm, with the Clarets taking on a Tigresses side who were promoted back to the third tier at the first time of asking.
In the first 2024/25 edition of ‘Turf’ we catch up with Head of Women’s Football Lola Ogunbote after a busy summer on and off the pitch.
She reflects on the off season and looks ahead to the team’s games against Wolverhampton Wanderers and West Bromwich Albion at Turf Moor.
Head Coach Rebecca Sawiuk also has her say on a new-look Clarets squad and gives her take on the team’s pre-season preparations.
Additionally, supporters can catch up on Brenna McPartlan’s exploits with the Northern Ireland senior team and learn a little more about new signing Helen Seed in our ‘Player Insight’ feature.
Tickets for today’s game are available to purchase on the gate, priced at £5 for adults and £2 for concessions.
If you can’t make the trip to Nelson, the match will be live streamed on Burnley Football Club’s official YouTube channel and Clarets+.
