Burnley FC Women welcome Newcastle United to the Lancashire FA County Ground in the Northern Premier Division of the FA Women’s National League on Sunday.
The Clarets are third in the table heading into this one, eight points behind the Magpies but with two games in hand.
Rebecca Sawiuk's side fell to a first league defeat of the season last time out, losing 2-1 away to Nottingham Forest at Grange Park.
Forest's Alice Keitley broke the deadlock after a goalless first half and Mai Moncaster later added a second. Substitute Ginny Lackey scored her first Burnley goal in the final stages but it wasn't enough to prevent defeat.
Sunday's opponents currently lead the table with eleven wins, one loss, and one draw.
Becky Langley's team are coming off an impressive 3-0 victory against Wolverhampton Wanderers in their last outing, with striker Paige Bailey-Gayle netting twice and Jasmine McQuade sealing the victory in stoppage time at the end of the 90.
The last time these two sides faced each other in October, the points were shared in a goalless draw at Kingston Park.
Kick-off at the Lancashire FA County Ground is 2pm, and season ticket holders will enjoy free entry, with adult tickets priced at £5 and concessions at £2.
