For the second home game running, entry will be free to all supporters as Burnley FC Women host Huddersfield Town at the County Ground in Leyland on Sunday afternoon (September 4).
Last Sunday, Jonathan Morgan’s side beat Stoke City 1-0 thanks to Millie Ravening’s penalty in front of a record crowd of 291.
And having made it three wins from three at the beginning of their campaign in the Northern Premier Division of the FA Women’s National League with a 4-2 win away at AFC Fylde Women in midweek, Burnley are now back on home turf against the Terriers.
Striker Evie Priestley netted a hat-trick in that midweek win over the Coasters, taking her to four goals for the season already. Ravening was also on target, netting her second of the campaign.

And while there have been plenty of new additions to the side over the course of the summer, those two are no strangers to Huddersfield who head to Leyland in a war of the roses.
Ravening netted in the same fixture this time last year, which saw the Claret Women earn a thumping 4-0 victory. Courtney Willis, Nic Worthington & Lizzy Hamer – all of whom are in contention again this Sunday – also got on the scoresheet that afternoon.
Meanwhile back in April, the two sides played out a goalless draw in Yorkshire, that the only game Burnley failed to score in post-Christmas last season.
The Claret Women would finish the campaign 4th, two places higher than Huddersfield in 6th.
And at the start of the new season, the Terriers have had varied fortunes. Not playing in midweek, Glen Preston’s side have three points from their opening two games.

Beating newly-promoted Boldmere St Michael’s Women on the opening day away from home, Huddersfield were the biggest winners with a 7-1 margin.
They went on to lose 5-0 in their first home game of the campaign last time out against Wolverhampton Wanderers Women though, and sit 7th ahead of Sunday’s game.
