Burnley FC Women are delighted to announce the signing of Mikayla Wildgoose, following her departure from Birmingham City.
The defender joins up with the Clarets ahead of their first game of the season, against Liverpool Feds, on Sunday 20th August.
Wildgoose has spent her entire youth career with the Blues, breaking into the senior side in the 2021/22 season, before a dual-reg agreement move to Loughborough Lightning was agreed for the end of the 2022/23 campaign.
The 18-year-old featured against the Clarets last season for the Lightning and has also represented Northern Ireland at both U17 and U19 level.

After joining Burnley, Wildgoose said: “I’m looking forward to the upcoming season with Burnley.
“It’s exciting to be a part of a great team and set up here, and hopefully we can have a successful campaign.”
Wildgoose is the third defender that Rebecca Sawiuk has brought in this summer, and she added: “I've worked with Mikayla before and I'm really pleased to be able to bring a player of her quality and potential to Burnley Women.
"She has a full season of experience in this league under her belt and I know the best is yet to come because she's still only 18 years old.
"She plays well beyond her years as she is physical, combative, hard to beat and confident on the ball.
"Mikayla will add to the quality and competition in our squad in the back line ahead of what will be a very exciting season in the FA Women's National League North."
