Postponed food drive rescheduled for Derby County game

The Vertu Festive Food Drive is set to take place on Tuesday 10th December when the Clarets take on Derby County at Turf Moor (KO 7:45pm).

The Club have once again joined forces with partner Vertu to collect food items for the local foodbank operated by Burnley FC in the Community.

There will a sleigh and two Vertu branded cars situated on Harry Potts Way between 5:30-7:45pm, for supporters to donate items and we are aiming to fill both of the cars with donations.

In addition to the Christmas display on Harry Potts Way, there will also be a donation station based in the Rapidz Fan Zone on the evening, where supporters can also donate food items.

Since opening its doors in 2020, demand for the foodbank, based in Burnley town centre, has seen significant increase and with the weather turning colder this winter, all donations of non-perishable food items are very much welcome.

This year when a donation is made at one of the donation stations based at the stadium on the night or at the town centre foodbank, supporters can scan a QR code to enter into a prize draw to win a Burnley FC VIP matchday experience.

The premium experience includes two hospitality tickets, a package of Burnley FC merchandise, and more!

For those who cannot attend the game to donate in person, an online donation can be made to the foodbank at www.justgiving.com/campaign/supportburnleyfoodbank.

All donations this festive season will make a real difference and help the foodbank provide much-needed support to the people in the local community who need it most.
