On Saturday afternoon, Burnley's U21s travelled to Wheatsheaf Park to face Brentford B in a Premier League Cup clash which ended in a 2-2 draw.
The Clarets lineup included several trialists, and it was one, Trialist B, who managed to even the score in the first half after Brentford’s Iwan Morgan had put the home side ahead.
The Bees' Ashley Hay bagged a goal just before Burnley's Lewis Richardson was added to the scoresheet and closed the scoring for the afternoon.
Andy Farrell's squad featured four different trialists, and Bradley Grant made his first start since returning from injury.

First Half
Brentford B initiated the game with an offensive approach, with Hay attempting a low strike from close range within the first ten minutes. However, his shot went narrowly wide.
The Bees' striker Morgan scored the opening goal thanks to Kyreece Lisbie's rapid run down the wing. Lisbie delivered a precise cross into the area, allowing Morgan to execute a controlled finish leaving Sam Waller trailing behind.
Morgan had another opportunity as he skilfully found his way into the box, unleashing a powerful shot. But Grant impressively blocked the attempt and swiftly moved the ball away from danger.
Burnley's Trialist B found the equaliser as he picked up a loose ball in the area and slotted it into the bottom corner beyond Ben Winterbottom's reach, leaving the sides level at the break.

Second Half
The Bees started the second half much like the first, with Hay dodging past the Clarets' defensive line and delivering a precise low strike that shot straight into the bottom corner of the net.
Waller then showcased his exceptional goalkeeping talent as he denied multiple goal-scoring opportunities from Bees trio Benjamin Frederick, Hay, and Morgan.
In a counter attack, Burnley's Richardson swiftly moved the ball into the area and unleashed a powerful shot into the top corner, beyond Winterbottom's reach.
Hay had the final opportunity as he found himself a free header when unmarked just inside the box. However, he failed to make a perfect connection and Waller comfortably made the save, leaving both sides equal at the final whistle.
