Burnley defender Owen Dodgson has joined Dundee in a loan deal until the end of the 2023/24 season.
The 20-year-old was recalled from his loan spell at Sky Bet League One outfit Barnsley at the start of January, having made 15 appearances in all competitions for the Tykes.
Initially joining Burnley in 2020, the full-back penned a three-year extension to his deal in July 2022, six months after making his senior debut against Huddersfield Town in the FA Cup.
Managed by Tony Docherty, Dundee sit 7th in the Scottish Premier League table having taken 22 points from 18 matches.
Dodgson could debut for his new side on Saturday afternoon, when they play Kilmarnock in the fourth round of the Scottish Gas Scottish Cup.
He will find a familiar face at ‘The Dee’ in fellow Claret Dara Costelloe, who made a temporary switch to Dens Park at the start of this month.
