Burnley Football Club can confirm that in addition to May’s retained and released list, a further three players have since left our women’s team.
Goalkeeper Lucy Farrell has departed, alongside midfielders Amelia Hazard and Rhema Lord-Mears.
Farrell joined the Club in 2021 and spent last season on loan at Stockport County and Halifax.
Hazard moved north last summer and made 26 appearances in all competitions, scoring six times.
Lord-Mears has been a Claret for the last two seasons and had an eye for a long-range goal from attacking midfield.
The club would like to thank all three players for their efforts in a Burnley shirt and wish them the best of luck for the future.
