Renaldo Torraj has been called up to Albania’s U21 squad for their mid-season friendlies against San Marino and Montenegro.
The versatile attacker recently put pen to paper on a one-year deal with the Clarets after a successful trial, and made his debut for the Club’s U21s at Peterborough United last week.
He so far has seven youth international appearances to his name – along with one goal – spanning across U16, U17 & U19 levels.
And now at 18, Torraj is in contention for his first appearances internationally at U21 level. Both of the Young Eagles’ friendlies are away, with San Marino on 16th November & Montenegro on 20th November.
Accordingly, he will miss Burnley’s U21 game at Turf Moor against Barnsley on Monday afternoon (14th November) along with the trip to Swansea City in the Premier League Cup on 21st November.
