A look at both teams ahead of Saturday

Burnley

Burnley are likely to still be without striker Lyle Foster who is recovering from surgery along with Aaron Ramsey, Jordan Beyer, Nathan Redmond and Luca Koleosho who all continue their rehabilitation from their respective longer-term injuries.

Defender Ameen Al-Dakhil hasn't featured since the visit to Manchester City following an injury the Belgian picked up and remains a doubt this weekend, as well as midfielder Han-Noah Massengo who is likely miss Saturday.

Although, manager Vincent Kompany did admit there could be a few 'positive surprises' in his squad selection for this weekend.

Brentford

Midfielder Christian Norgaard has been ruled out of this weekend after picking an injury against Arsenal last week, alongside central defender Ethan Pinnock who won't feature until after the international break.

Bees boss Thomas Frank confirmed Spanish left-back Sergio Reguilon will be available for selection at Turf Moor but admitted there is a 'decision to be made' on whether Bryan Mbeumo travels to Lancashire or not, as the winger nears a return for the London side.

Frank did confirm last month that full-backs Rico Henry and Jay Dasilva will both be side-lined for the remainder of the 2023/24 season, along with former Claret Ben Mee who broke his ankle against West Ham and won't feature for the rest of the campaign.
