The Clarets travel to Norfolk to take on bottom club Norwich City on Sunday (2pm)
Norwich are 20th in the table seven points behind Burnley, who are 18th. The Clarets have a game in hand.
Left back Charlie Taylor was a key figure in the win over Everton. The former Leeds United defender appreciated how valuable the three points were.
“Confidence is huge, especially in football. If we can use the momentum and everything off the back of the win on Wednesday and take that into the game on Sunday. That can only help.”
Focus now switches to the game at Carrow Road on Sunday.

“It’s a bit of a cliché, but it’s one game at a time at the minute and obviously that’s Norwich on Sunday. If we can win that we can start, hopefully, to move up the league and then focus on the next game.”
Taylor knows Sunday will be a tough game.
“You want to win the games against the teams that are around you, that are in and around it. Norwich are a good team. They are fighting for their lives as well. There is no doubt they will be up for it as well.”
Form guide
Burnley pulled off a superb 3-2 comeback win against Everton at Turf Moor on Wednesday night with goals from Nathan Collins, Jay Rodriguez and Maxwel Cornet.
Dean Smith’s Norwich City drew 0-0 at the Amex Stadium last Saturday to end a run of six successive Premier League defeats.
The reverse fixture at Turf Moor back in October ended goalless. That was the first ever goalless draw between the sides.

Opposition guide
Dean Smith took over at Carrow Road in November after Daniel Farke left the club.
He knows last Saturday’s draw against Brighton and Hove Albion was a significant result.
“Important to stop the run of defeats. It could be a point closer to where we want to go. We know we need to be better.”
Smith watched Burnley’s vital win over Everton.
“Burnley are scrapping for every point and have been in this situation many times. They got a well deserved win on Wednesday.”
The former Aston Villa manager knows Burnley are battle hardened.
“They’ve been in this position before. Sean has been in this position before. They scrap for everything.
“It’s a game we have to be really good in. We will try and win the game. We have to be better in the weeks to come.”
