Scott Parker was left to reflect on a 'missed opportunity', as Burnley were held to a 0-0 draw by AFC Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
In a game of few clear-cut chances, both sides hit the woodwork.
Here's what the Clarets gaffer had to say at the full-time whistle ...
BIG SHIFT
“It was a big shift from the boys.
“We had big chances in that first half and we didn’t manage to take them.
“The game ebbed and flowed in the second half.
“We gave everything but just lacked the clinical touch in front of goal.
“On reflection, we played well today.
"It’s probably a fair result against a good, good side, but it feels like a missed opportunity."
STAYING IN THE FIGHT
“When you have the bumps that we’ve had, it can have an impact over the course of the season.
“But we showed today we’re still fighting.
“Anyone who was here today could not fault the spirit and endeavour at all.
“We had to bounce back from the Everton performance and I thought we did that.”
JAIDON THE SPARK
“I thought Jaidon was superb against his former club.
“He was a bright spark and he epitomised the intent and fearlessness we showed at times throughout the 90 minutes.
“We played with freedom but overall we’ve just come up short of getting a crucial three points.”
SPIRIT STILL SHOWING
“There’s a spirit and togetherness amongst the group - and we saw that again today.
“We’re still fighting.
“There’s eight games and 24 points to play for and we’ll keep going, we’ll keep fighting.”
