In association with AB1 Goalkeeper Gloves, Burnley FC Women’s Lauren Bracewell and former Burnley FC Captain Tom Heaton will be meeting fans at the Clarets Store on Tuesday 26th October.
The players will be in store between 2:30 - 4:30pm on the day, with Heaton, currently at Manchester United, making a welcome return to Turf Moor for the appearance.
Bracewell, signed for the Clarets in 2017 and has enjoyed back-to-back promotions with the women’s team, who currently compete in the Northern Premier Division of the FA Women’s National League.
The number 1, was a penalty hero earlier in the year, helping the Clarets to secure a place in the fourth-round of the Women's FA Cup, the furthest stage the team had ever reached in the competition, saving three penalties in a shootout against Sunderland AFC Ladies now of the Women’s Championship.
Former Clarets captain Tom Heaton made 188 appearances for the club before leaving for Aston Villa in 2019. In July 2021 he made a return to Manchester United 11 years after first leaving them, signing a two-year contract with the option of an extra year.
Following the completion of his switch to Villa Park, Heaton thanked Burnley supporters for the incredible support received during his time at Turf Moor.
The pair are endorsees of AB1 Goalkeeper Gloves, founded by Asmir Begovic of Everton.
The range, powered by goalkeepers and featuring traditional aspects of goalkeeping glove design, will be available in the Clarets Store for fans to purchase on the day.
