Burnley FC Women took the lead twice against Wolves Women FC, the current leaders of the Northern Premier Division, before the home team came back with the points shared on the day.
Both teams settled into the game in the opening stages. Wolves enjoyed a lot of possession and tried to stretch the visitors backline, but Burnley remained solid.
Millie Ravening forced a save from the Wolves keeper and Captain Lauren Bracewell made some comfortable saves for the visitors.
The tempo was increasing as the half progressed, with both sides pushing to open the scoring.
The deadlock was broken in the 49th minute when Millie Ravening gave the visitors the lead. This was followed in the 65th minute by Tammi George who equalised for the home side.
Burnley maintained the pressure and enjoyed more possession as the half drew on.

Manager, Matt Bee said: "I'm proud of all the players for the effort and intensity they brought to the game. We found a good balance between being compact but also offering a threat in the areas that we wanted to.
"The second half we sharpened up with the ball and we created some great moments. Clearly there is disappointment after the game in the dressing room as we felt we did enough to win the game. However, I can't fault the performance and the work the players put in. We believe in what we do and how we work and today was another example of how effective we can be when we trust ourselves.
"Our recent form has been good, with the obvious exception being the Brighouse game, every other performance has been consistent and strong. We will continue to keep working hard on the training pitch to keep moving forward."

"We need to take this into next week's game against West Brom."
