16 Clarets players are currently out on season-long loan deals across nine leagues and three countries, including the Premier League, Vanarama National League North & Belgian Pro League.
That tally includes nine players from the academy here at the Club, with Dane McCullough taking on fellow loanee Sam Waller on Saturday in the Northern Premier League’s Premier Division. Elsewhere, forward Enock Agyei netted for Belgium’s U18s on international duty, playing in all three of the young Red Devils’ games.
Here’s a round-up of how the first eight loanees, in alphabetical order, have fared with their Clubs, and countries, over the last week. Make sure to look out for ‘Loan Watch: Part Two’ to keep up to date with how the other eight fared.
Bobby Thomas (Barnsley)

Dara Costelloe (Bradford City)
Bradford are also chasing promotion this season, with versatile attacker Costelloe hoping to contribute to that success.

This week’s game(s): SAT – Grimsby Town (H)
Enock Agyei (K.V. Mechelen)
Fellow forward Agyei enjoyed a successful international break with Belgium’s U18s who headed to Croatia for a week-long training camp.
