Part One of this week’s ‘Loan Watch’
14 players are currently on loan deals away from the Club, across various leagues and countries, including the Danish Superliga, Scottish Premiership and German Bundesliga.
This tally includes players from the first team, U21s and U18s and below is a round up of how the first seven players, in alphabetical order, fared in this week’s fixtures.
Bailey Peacock-Farrell (AGF Aarhus)
There was no fixture for Peacock-Farrell's Danish Superliga club this week due to the international break, however the ‘keeper has featured twice for his nation Northern Ireland in the UEFA European Championship 2024 qualifiers, losing both times against Slovenia and Kazakhstan respectively.
The Danish Superliga returns following the break this Sunday, with 5th placed AGF welcoming Brøndby IF to Aarhus Stadium in what could potentially be the Northern Irish stopper’s next game with his loan club.

Benn Ward (Swindon Town)
Ward was an unused substitute for the Robins this week, in their 5-3 win against 23rd placed side Sutton United at the County Ground.
Jake Young struck twice for Swindon and former Claret Charlie Austin came up with two assists to ensure the home side secured a victory that leaves them sat 5th in the Sky Bet League Two table.
It’s a home game once more for Michael Flynn’s team this week, as they face Walsall at the County Ground on Saturday.

Dara Costelloe (St. Johnstone)
Costelloe did not feature this week, as his Saints side did not have a game due to the current international break.

Harry Moss (Padiham)
Moss missed out on both of the Storks fixtures this week, as he was uninvolved in the games against Prestwich Heys and Squires Gate.
Padiham fell to a 2-0 defeat against the Heys last Tuesday and were also defeated by Gate on Saturday, with a 1-0 scoreline leaving Michael Morrison’s side sat 21st in the North West Counties Premier Division.
The Storks return to action on Tuesday with a trip to Mossie Park to face Charnock Richard, before welcoming Barnoldswick Town to the Ruby Civil Arena on Saturday.

Jon Ander Vilar Robinson (Clitheroe)

Forshaw started in the second of his two-game loan deal, as Avro faced Winterton Rangers in a historic moment for their club as it was their first ever FA Trophy game.

The game was the last of Forshaw’s loan at the club, and he will now return to the Clarets.
