Burnley Football Club can confirm that women’s team defender Maddie Robinson has joined Halifax on loan until the end of the season.
Robinson signed her first professional contract on joining the Clarets in the summer and has made six appearances to date, scoring in October’s Adobe Women’s FA Cup victory over Blackburn Rovers.
The right-back will spend the second half of the campaign at fellow tier three side Halifax, who are currently 10th in the table under the management of Rob Mitchell.
