Burnley Football Club can confirm that women’s team midfielder Emma Doyle has joined Halifax on loan until the end of the season.
Doyle arrived at the Clarets in the summer of 2024 but suffered a serious ACL injury not long afterwards in a pre-season friendly.
Now fit and training with the squad on a regular basis, the 26-year-old will look to earn valuable playing time at fellow tier three side Halifax.
There she joins fellow Claret Maddie Robinson, and could make her debut in this weekend’s trip to Sporting Khalsa.
