Burnley FC Women are pleased to confirm the signing of Ginny Lackey on a dual registration from Manchester City.
The striker has represented England at U17s level and alongside Manchester City has also spent time previously at AFC Fylde Women - also on a dual registration. She has made 14 appearances and scored eleven goals in the Women's National League, making her the fourth highest goalscorer in the league.

On the signing, Burnley FC Women Manager Rebecca Sawiuk said: “Ginny’s a great talent, a good person, she has settled into the group really well. She’s an excellent finisher, the strike, the power, very creative, can find pockets of space in super tight areas. It’s as if socially and psychologically within our group she’s been here the whole season, which is pretty remarkable to come in and fit in.
“The players have built quick relationships with her, we’ve been looking at her and where she fits in with midfielders, how she connects with wide players, forwards, and we’re really pleased with how she’s settled in and everyone’s really excited to have her at Burnley.”
