Manager Vincent Kompany is looking forward to closing the curtains on the 2022/23 Sky Bet Championship season on Monday at Turf Moor as the Clarets host Cardiff City in the season finale.
Burnley take on the Bluebirds in front of a sell-out crowd at home and the Clarets will be looking to reach the 101 point mark to secure a 29th win of the campaign, before lifting the Championship trophy at full-time.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Kompany says it's an important game to finish with and wants 'to make it a day to remember' for the supporters.
The Clarets chief said: "From the two sides, we’re now all of a sudden the one who definitely want to win this game. For us, it’s an important game. It’s the final game of the season, in front of our home fans.
“The trophy lift on top of it. We’re wanting to make a good day out of it and make it a day to remember for all the fans."
“I think this game, we’ve got a couple of players that we definitely want to give a chance. I think it’s no secret that Barnsey will be an important figure for that game and some other players.
“We just want to be strong. In general we just want to win this game, it’s an important game for us and it can be a special day."

Top-scorer Nathan Tella has missed the last four matches through injury and Kompany is hopeful the forward can play a part on Monday: “I’ll find out soon. I know he’s been training. I know we had in our minds that there is maybe an outside chance he’ll be fit.
"So, I hope the next two or three days will show that he is fit to at least be a part of the squad and play a part."
Following Monday's final game of the season, the Clarets will have a break before returning to pre-season next month and Kompany admits that work is already being done behind the scenes to get business done ahead of the Premier League campaign.
Kompany said: “It's every manager’s dream, go into pre-season with a full squad and every piece of business done and completed. It’s just not going to happen, so the five loans immediately are the ones that we lose.
“But like I said before, conversations have been ongoing to see whether some of them we can actually keep for longer at the club.
"We’re having those discussions with the respective clubs and then we still have to strengthen in certain positions, but that’s been happening behind the scenes so we’ve really been putting a lot of time into that.”
