The Clarets will stage their seventh England international when the Under-21s play at Turf Moor.
Lee Carsley’s side will face the Czech Republic in a European Championship qualifier on Thursday, 11 November.
And the Group G fixture will extend a proud Burnley record of playing host to the national team.
The most recent occasion saw England beat Portugal 3-1 in a friendly Under-21 international in November 2014.
Burnley’s Danny Ings got two goals, with Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson scoring the other. Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva – then at Benfica – was the Portugal scorer.

Michael Keane, who was at Burnley on loan from Manchester United, also played. Another Burnley loanee Nathaniel Chalobah (Chelsea) came on as a substitute. Current England boss Gareth Southgate was the Under-21 manager.
Turf Moor staged another England Under-21 international in June 1995 when Dave Sexton’s England beat Latvia 4-0. There were goals for Chris Bart-Williams, Neil Shipperley, Steve Watson and Andy Booth.
An England Under-20 game was held at Burnley in October 2005 when former Clarets Gary Cahill (who had been on loan the previous season) and Richard Chaplow helped secure a 2-2 with the Netherlands.
Chaplow captained the England side as Grant Leadbitter and Dexter Blackstock scored for John Peacock’s team.
In May 2007, England played a rare B international at Turf Moor with the hosts beating Albania 3-1.

Besart Berisha scored for the visitors and impressed Burnley boss Steve Cotterill enough to secure a move from Hamburg.
Alan Smith, and Stewart Downing (two) got England’s goals as Steve McClaren managed the side.
The Clarets also staged a women’s international in September 2003 when England beat Australia 1-0.
Burnley-born Rachel Brown was in the home goal as Rachel Yankey scored the only goal after just 21 seconds.
The only full international held at Turf Moor came in November 1927 when Wales beat England 2-1.
There was plenty of local interest. Burnley’s Jack Hill captained the England side but had the misfortune of putting through his own goal. Louis Page also featured.
Neither played for their country again, although there were two future Burnley players on view in George Brown (England) and Ray Bennion (Wales).
Former Burnley player and chairman Charles Sutcliffe was England’s chief selector.
