Manager Vincent Kompany was delighted with his side's dominant performance against Preston North End which saw the Clarets run out 3-0 winners at Turf Moor.
A Nathan Tella hat-trick meant Burnley extended their winning run to 10 matches in the Sky Bet Championship, equalling the league record of successive wins in the progress.
Post-match, Kompany was pleased with his side's efforts against North End and praised the full-house Turf Moor crowd.
The Clarets chief said: “We played well, every one did. I cant point to too many things we did wrong today. It was a very complete performance and a very good result in front of our home fans in a derby.
"It was a great game for us, a real derby day win and I'm pleased with the way the side performed throughout the game.
"The atmosphere was there, the performance, the goals, so we're really happy to give the fans that one today.
“But it’s done now. We’ve got to move on to the next game and try and win the next one. I’m not good at looking back too much, I look forward.
"I’m sure the next game will be difficult again and that’s what we’ve got to be prepared for now."
Tella opened the scoring just 14 minutes into the clash before grabbing a second and third just before the hour mark to put the game out of sight.
Kompany had plenty of praise for the striker's impressive goals but also strongly applauded the 23-year-old's work rate and effort.
The manager said: "It has definitely been his week! I think the key for him is just to keep doing what has brought him this far.
"I have no doubt he can score goals, but it's his work rate and effort for the team and how he makes this team stronger stands out for me
"He scores in training, we've seen him score in games but has all the tools, it is not just goals to his game.
"I don't think I would appreciate his goal scoring as much if he didn't work as hard as he does for the team.
"He helps us recover the ball, he helps us get up the pitch, his overall game is fantastic for us."
