26/11/2011 - Hull City 2 - 3 Burnley (KC Stadium)
A stoppage time Jay Rodriguez winner rounded off three goals in the last 12 minutes of a five-goal thriller, as the Clarets come from two goals down to secure all three points in dramatic fashion in Hull.
City striker Matty Fryatt put the Tigers ahead in the 11th minute, before adding his and the hosts second of the night just before the hour mark.
Burnley pulled a goal back through David Edgar's header in the 78th minute, before the Canadian defender sealed his brace four minutes later and drew the scores level.
Just as the game looked to be drawing to a close with the score at 2-2, Rodriguez fired in an effort form 20-yards to seal victory for the Clarets on the road in the last minute.
It was the home side who started bright and took an early lead when Fryatt latched onto Cameron Stewart's ball into the area and tapped home past Lee Grant to give the Tigers the lead.
Burnley looked to respond to conceding and 10 minutes after the opener the visitors came close, when Junior Stanislas' in-swinging corner was met by the head of Michael Duff but City keeper' Peter Gulacsi was equal to it.
Chances for both sides were fairly minimal and there wasn't much to separate the two, as Liam Rosenior looked to try and add to the lead with an effort from outside the area but it fizzed wide of the target.
The last chance of the first-half fell to Robbie Brady, as the Irishman struck a stinging shot from just outside the box, but the hosts did double their advantage just 10 minutes into the second-half.
Fryatt was there once again to hammer home past Grant, as the striker this time powered an effort from 20-yards out into the roof of the net and put Hull two goals to the good.
As the game was approaching towards the final 10 minutes in Hull, the Clarets did pull a goal back in the 78th minute when Edgar connected onto Ross Wallace's cross and crashed a header past Gulacsi to set-up a nervy final for the hosts.
The momentum was with Burnley as the away side were pushing for an equaliser and that's exactly what they got just four minutes later, as Edgar grabbed his brace and the side's second goal with a strike from close range.
With the game level and three minutes into stoppage time, the Clarets then snatched the winning goal in an entertaining clash in East Yorkshire.
Rodriguez took advantage of a mix-up within the Hull defence and broke towards goal, before unleashing an effort into the bottom corner from outside the area to ensure the points were going back to Lancashire.
