Matchday operations

Following consultation with supporters, we can announce that the ‘coach operation’ that has been in place for previous fixtures, has been reviewed and is now no longer compulsory. However, both clubs will continue to offer a return coach transfer service and we strongly advise supporters wishing to travel to the respective away fixture, to consider utilising this service for their convenience. Adherence to the matchday safety and security procedures for this fixture will be essential so to avoid a review of the operational and travel arrangements for the return fixture at Ewood Park in March next year. We ask for your co-operation and support with this.

Please note, road closures around the stadium will be in place both pre- and post-match to facilitate a safe and secure matchday experience for all supporters. Further information confirming restrictions will be released closer to the fixture.

Remembrance Day activities

In honour of Remembrance Sunday, on the day, both clubs will be showing our respects to all service personnel who lost their lives during conflicts.

We will be showing the civic service of remembrance live from the town centre War Memorial in the FanZone at 11am. The Last Post will also be played ahead of a minute silence before kick-off, and both teams will lay wreaths.

At Burnley Football Club we want all supporters to have a safe and enjoyable matchday experience, therefore we ask fans from both clubs to collaborate with all stadium regulations and be mindful of behaviour. This game and return fixture in March offer the opportunity for both clubs to come together, in a unified approach, and celebrate what Lancashire football has to offer.

Blackburn Rovers Away

The Club can confirm that for the convenience of supporters a matchday coach operation is not mandatory. However, we do encourage supporters to travel by coach and these tickets will be priced at £10.
