We will also be talking to current players to find out about their sporting heroes and footballers that inspired them to play the beautiful game.
Micah Hyde
Micah Hyde is still fondly remembered here at Turf Moor, especially his spectacular goal at Ewood Park in 2005.
Born in the London Borough of Newham he joined Brimsdown Rovers youth team, playing alongside a future England international star, David Beckham.
He soon gained a reputation as a tough tackling industrious midfielder and attracted the attention of many Football League clubs.
Cambridge United offered him a professional contract in the early 1990s, with him making his Football League debut at the Abbey Stadium against Swansea City in September 1993.
He went on to make over 120 appearances before attracting the attention of Graham Taylor at Vicarage Road.
Hyde made his debut for Watford at home to the Clarets in the first game of the 1997/98 season. Whilst at Vicarage Road he won his first of 17 international caps for Jamaica.
The Jamaican international was instrumental in helping the Hornets to successive back-to-back promotion campaigns during the late 1990s. He went onto make over 280 league and cup appearances for the Hertfordshire based club.

After seven seasons at Watford he was snapped up by Steve Cotterill in July 2004 after turning down a new contract at Vicarage Road.
He made his debut at home to Sheffield United in the first league game of the 2004/05 and became a select member of players who have scored on their debut for the Clarets.
Micah Hyde was a consistent and reliable player who became the mainstay of the central midfield for the Clarets during his time here at Turf Moor.
It was during a FA Cup tie at Ewood Park in March 2005, which is still remembered till this day, when he unleashed a spectacular left-footed dipping volley past Brad Friedel to level the tie. Sending the masses congregated in the Darwen End wild.
After just over a 100 appearances for Burnley, he joined Peterborough United in January 2007 for a fee of £75,000.
He made just over 70 league and cup appearances for the Posh prior to him having his contract cancelled by mutual consent in November 2008. After spells with Woking, Barnet and Saint Albans City, Hyde finally hung up his boots.
He later joined Dagenham and Redbridge as an academy coach and is currently working with Queens Park Rangers under-18s academy.
