Burnley Women defend their Lancashire FA Women’s Senior Cup title this evening and there’s no better way to prepare than by reading our digital match day programme!
Kick-off at the County Ground in Leyland is 7:30pm and the Clarets got to this stage of the competition courtesy of a 6-0 victory over AFC Fylde back in January.
In the latest edition of Turf, Head of Women’s Football Lola Ogunbote gives her thoughts on Sunday’s momentous victory over Liverpool Feds and looks ahead to the team’s next game at Turf Moor, which is against Derby County on Sunday 5th May.
Head Coach Rebecca Sawiuk also reflects on the important three league points and previews tonight’s game, which could see her earn her first silverware in charge of the Clarets.
Supporters can look back at both teams’ semi-final victories and there’s also a useful insight into the opposition, who operate in the fifth tier of English football.
Tickets for tonight’s game are available to purchase at the venue, priced at £6 for adults and £3 for concessions.
If you can’t make it to Leyland, you can follow live updates on X @BurnleyFCWomen and Instagram @BurnleyFCWomen.
If the written word is your favoured type of media, you will find a match report on www.burnleyfootballclub.com shortly after the final whistle.
