Burnley Women are back in competitive action this afternoon, and our matchday programme is the perfect way to get ready for the action!
The clock is counting down to today’s 2pm kick-off against Rugby Borough, in which the Clarets will be aiming to record an 11th straight league victory.
Inside ‘Turf’ you will find a healthy dose of insight from the women’s team staff and playing squad, starting with Head of Women’s Football Lola Ogunbote.
She reflects on our successful return to Turf Moor against West Bromwich Albion two weeks ago today, before looking ahead to our next game in BB10 against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Interim Manager Ross Wallace summarises his happiness at his team’s display against the Baggies, and details what he expects from Rugby Borough this afternoon.
Our exclusive player interview is with Yana Daniëls, who netted her fifth goal of the campaign against Albion.
The midfielder explains the mood within the dressing room ahead of our final six games and reflects on her role within the team as captain.
Additionally, Charlie Chadwick describes her ideal dinner party in our new ‘Come Dine with the Clarets’ feature and you can take a behind-the-scenes look at training through the lens of our photographer.
There’s also an in-depth guide on today’s opponents, who sit 3rd in the table under the management of Lee Burch.
