Form guide
Burnley have made a perfect start to their campaign, winning all four matches in all competitions and scoring 24 goals in the process.
Our last outing was a convincing 5-1 victory at Stoke City, with a Laura Elford brace accompanied by goals from Anna Grey, Aimee Kelly and Charley Docherty.
After three matches we sit 2nd in the league table, behind Rugby Borough on goal difference.
Wolves’ season started with a bang as they recorded back-to back victories over Stourbridge and Derby County. A 4-0 triumph over the ‘Glass Girls’ was followed up by a 2-1 scoreline against ‘The Ewes’.
Their results have dipped of late, though, with an FAWNL Cup defeat to Stoke City being followed by a 6-1 reverse against Nottingham Forest last time out.
They are currently 5th with six points from three matches.
What Rebecca Sawiuk said
“Wolves are a top side in this division and continue to improve year on year,” she said.
“They have a real mix of exciting young talent, long-serving players and some real quality.
“Macca (Dan McNamara, manager) drives his team forward and they will be well organised, hard to beat and will always compete with real spirit.”
“Football is an entertainment business and without your support, getting the opportunity to meet you all and hopefully inspiring the next generation, it just doesn’t feel the same.”

All supporters at Turf Moor are encouraged to read the below carefully:
The safety of all match participants is of paramount importance and we recognise that reckless actions, which have previously been witnessed at fixtures, are carried out by a small minority of fans and the majority of supporters attend and watch matches in a safe and respectful way.
As a football club we expect supporters to adhere to the ground regulations in place at Turf Moor, enjoy the game from their seat and DO NOT enter the playing area at any time. It is a criminal offence to enter the pitch and doing so, may result in a criminal record and stadium bans. It also creates a significant safety issue not only for themselves, but for fellow supporters, club players, staff and match officials.
It is also against ground regulations to throw any items/missiles on the pitch - any supporter that throws anything, putting the safety of players and individuals at risk, will receive a severe banning order from the club. This behaviour will not be tolerated.
Football unites to improve participant and fan behaviour. Read the 'Love Football. Protect the Game' measures here.
Not in our Stadium
If you hear, witness or experience discriminatory behaviour at Turf Moor, text 'Report' to 62277, texts are free and will remain anonymous. You can also approach your nearest steward or make a report via the Kick it Out dedicated app.
Burnley Football Club is One Club for All. We do not tolerate hate speech or discrimination in any form; it is a criminal offence and will be dealt with severely.
We urge supporters who experience or witness any discriminatory language or behaviour to report it urgently - it is not welcome in our stadium.
Offensive chanting
We are aware of incidents of offensive chanting at football matches this season, chanting which can have a negative affect on supporters.
Those found to be responsible for offensive chanting will be ejected from the stadium and maybe arrested. There is no place for this behaviour in our game.
We thank you for your support.
