Five of Scott Parker’s men are set to represent their countries over the next few days around the globe in the September international break.
First up, on Friday night James Trafford, Connor Roberts and Lyle Foster could all feature for their respective nations as England U21s face Northern Ireland, Wales host Turkey in Cardiff and South Africa entertain Uganda.
Saturday could then see Jeremy Sarmiento and Andreas Hountondji in action for their countries, as Ecuador travel to Brazil and Benin take on Nigeria.
Friday
Lyle Foster (South Africa) v Uganda 5:00pm (H)
South Africa host Uganda in the first of their two Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers over the September international fixtures.
It’s the first group stage match of the qualifiers, with Bafana Bafana in group K alongside Congo, South Sudan and Uganda.
Tuesday will then see Foster and his teammates travel to South Sudan for their second group fixture to conclude this month’s qualifiers.

Connor Roberts (Wales) v Turkey 7:45pm (H)
Former Clarets assistant manager Craig Bellamy will take charge of his first game on Friday night, as Wales host Turkey in the first of their UEFA Nations League fixtures.
In a group alongside Turkey, Iceland and Montenegro, the Dragons will be aiming to get off to a strong start under Bellamy in their two September games.
Monday will then see Roberts, who has 55 caps to his name now, travel to Montenegro to finalise their Nations League fixtures for the month.

James Trafford (England U21s) v Northern Ireland 7:45pm (A)
The Young Lions, now under the guidance of interim boss Ben Futcher with Lee Carsley stepping up to the senior set up, face Northern Ireland in the first of their two fixtures this month.
A win for England would put them one step closer to qualifying for next summer’s U21s Euro’s, with Futcher’s side currently sitting joint top of group F, behind Ukraine on goal difference with only four games left of qualification.
Trafford and England then host Austria on Monday night at Kenilworth Road in their second qualifier of September.

Saturday
Jeremy Sarmiento (Ecuador) v Brazil 2:00am (A)
Ecuador head to Brazil on Friday night (early hours of Saturday morning in the UK) as Sarmiento and his teammates take on the five time World Cup winners in a 2026 World Cup qualifier.
'La Tri' currently sit 5th in the South America qualifying group, after taking eight points from their first six games and will face Brazil in the first of their two qualifiers over September.
Following the trip to Curitiba, Ecuador then host Peru on Tuesday evening in Quito to conclude the September international break for Sebastian Beccacece's men.

Andreas Hountondji (Benin) v Nigeria 5:00pm (A)
Benin face Nigeria in Uyo on Saturday evening in their first Africa Cup of Nations qualifier, before then taking on Libya on Tuesday night in their second fixture.
Hountondji has eight caps to his name after making his debut for the 'Cheetahs' in June 2023 against Senegal.
