Matt Bee's side hoping to keep momentum of recent positive run
Following a weekend break in fixtures, Burnley FC Women are back in action on Sunday as they return to Hull City Ladies in the Northern Premier Division of The FA Women’s National League.
Burnley have been enjoying a positive spell in recent weeks, with concesutive wins against Huddersfield Town Women and Hull.
The clarets faced the tigresses earlier this month in the League Cup, coming away 7-2 winners on the day, with Nic Worthington, Courtney Willis, Dominique Cooper, Millie Ravening and Lucia Molinari all on the scoresheet. Striker Evie Priestley also increased her goals tally, adding two on the day, meaning she currently sits second in the league's goalscorers table.
The home team meanwhile have endured a difficult run with three losses and one draw, in the opening four league fixtures, resulting in the side currently sitting bottom of the league table.

Ahead of the game, Burnley FC Women Manager Matt Bee said: “The break in fixtures last weekend was a chance for everybody to refresh after what has been a busy schedule.
"Our last two results have been positive and there is a good buzz around the camp at the moment, the key is to keep that positive mindset going into the weekend to ensure that we perform collectively at a high level.
"The performances since the start of the season have been pretty consistent and we have sharpened up in the final third over recent weeks, so we want to continue that.

"We have a consistent approach to our training each week and our mindset towards how we approach each game, so the players are prepared and ready to perform.
"Hull were unlucky to not go into half-time in front in our last game, so we know that they have threats and we have to be aware of that.”
New signing this summer, Courtney Willis, has hit the ground running as a claret. The ex-Liverpool Academy player has been involved in every game this season, bolstering the attack, with three goals in six appearances.
She sat down earlier in the week to talk about settling into the team, and looking ahead to this weekend's visit to Hull.
Sunday's game will take place at Haworth Park Sports Facility, Hull. KO 2pm.
Admission is £6 for adults, £5 concessions and free for under 16s. Tickets can be purchased HERE.
