Burnley FC Women are in FA Women’s National League Cup action on Sunday afternoon - 22nd January - as they travel to face Nottingham Forest Women in the Quarter-Finals of the competition (2pm KO).
Jonathan Morgan’s side had been drawn at home, and the tie was set to take place at The Giant Axe in Lancaster.
However, due to the inclement weather experienced over the last week and the forecast over the weekend, a decision was made to reverse the fixture with Forest as the hosts.
Accordingly, it will now take place at the Halbrooke Stadium in Nottingham (NG16 3HB) with supporters still welcome to make the journey and free entry available to the game.

The last-eight tie for Burnley comes after success in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup a fortnight ago with a 1-0 success over Norwich City Women.
Millie Ravening’s goal proved the only one of the game to set up a tie in the Fourth Round at home against Cardiff City Ladies next weekend.
But before attention turns to that, it’s a trip to the Midlands in the League Cup, a competition in which the Claret Women have already progressed through three rounds this season.
All of which have been away from home, seeing off Hull City Ladies, Liverpool Feds Women and Derby County Women thus far.

Now, with a Semi-Final spot on the line, Morgan’s side come up against a Forest side who have been flying high this season.
Topping the league table at the time of writing, three points ahead of Burnley, Andy Cook’s Reds took a point from their trip to the County Ground back in October.
Ravening was again the name on the scoresheet to level things up and earn a point following Charlotte Greengrass’ early opener.
Last weekend saw Cook’s side visit Lancashire oncemore, earning three points in the league thanks to a thumping 12-1 win at AFC Fylde Women.

Their run to the last eight of the League Cup has also included comfortable wins, two of which coming against lower league opposition.
Beating Leek Town Ladies 5-0 and Norton & Stockton Ancients Ladies 3-1, the Reds were then taken to extra time away at Stoke City Women in the previous round but eventually ran out 4-2 victors.
The other Quarter-Final ties in the FAWNL Cup are as follows:
·      Watford Women vs MK Dons Women
·      Plymouth Argyle Women Vs Portsmouth Women
·      Wolverhampton Wanderers Women vs Huddersfield Town Women (5th February)
