Burnley FC Women’s Third Round Vitality Women’s FA Cup tie against Norwich City Women has been postponed due to a frozen pitch at the Project Solar Stadium.
The fixture had been set to go ahead before a late pitch inspection from the match officials in which it was identified that sections of the playing surface hadn’t thawed out given the inclement weather experienced in recent days.
It will now be re-arranged, with details to be confirmed in due course.
We would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused, and thank supporters who had made the trip to the Project Solar Stadium before the late postponement.
