Burnley will host Bradford City in the second round of the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, with the tie to take place on Sunday 24th November.
The Clarets will be looking to build on the momentum earned from yesterday’s 12-0 victory over Spennymoor Town, in which Aimee Kelly scored five and Laura Elford scored four.
Like Spennymoor, Bradford operate in the fifth tier of women’s football which is known as the Northeast Women’s Regional Football League (NEWRFL).
Having made it through two qualifying rounds, the Bantams beat our Lancashire neighbours Preston North End 2-1 in the first round proper yesterday afternoon.
Full fixture details, including venue and ticketing information, will be confirmed in due course.
