Matt Bee's side aiming for a win following defeats to Nottingham Forest and Fylde
Sunday will see Burnley FC Women travel to Derby County Women as they continue their FA Women's National League campaign.
The clarets enjoyed a bright start to the league with a win at Sheffield FC Women, however have since suffered consecutive defeats to Nottingham Forest Women and AFC Fylde Women.
Burnley FC Women Manager, Matt Bee said: “Clearly we aren’t happy with the last two results, we want to be winning games of football and as a club over recent seasons that is something we have done regularly so we know what it takes to win.
"We have to remember that we have done a lot of things right, structurally we have been good, we just need to eliminate the individual mistakes.
Faye McCoy and Amy Hughes helped Fylde claim the three points on the evening under the lights at Mill Farm, to move the side to the top of the table joint with Wolves Women.
Derby County meanwhile, bounced back from a 1-0 loss to Wolves Women last weekend with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Stoke City Women. Sophie Domingo put the away team up two in the first half and Kira Rai secured victory in the 69th minute.
"The players know the challenge that awaits them this weekend, Derby are a fantastic side and in my opinion, on their day when they are firing, are probably the best side in the league. That said, we have a belief in what we do and how we operate, we have prepared well and are ready for the game.
"The players have to attack Sunday with a belief and ensure they perform their roles effectively."
Sunday's game takes place at Mickleover Sports Club, Derby, DE3 9FE. KO 2pm.
Tickets are priced at £5 for adults, under 16s and over 65s £2. Tickets can be purchased via Derby County Women here. Follow Burnley FC Women on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
