Burnley U21s v Peterborough United U21s | Professional Development League | 1pm

After the postponement of last week’s trip to Crewe Alexandra, the U21s will be raring to get the week started when they host Peterborough United on Tuesday afternoon.

Three Professional Development League points are up for grabs at Burnley Training Centre, with Andy Farrell’s team fighting at the top end of the table.

Supporters are welcome to show their support in person for free.

Plymouth Argyle v Burnley | Sky Bet Championship | 8pm

A lengthy trip to the south coast awaits Scott Parker and his players, who face bottom-of-the-table Plymouth Argyle at Home Park on Wednesday night.

A small portion of our 1,192 allocation are still available, although the online sales deadline has now passed. Supporters can purchase over the phone on 01282 446800 or in person at Turf Moor until midday on Tuesday 21st January, subject to availability.

Alternatively, you can watch live in the UK on Sky Sports Main Event/Sky Sports Football and follow live updates on the Club’s official social media channels.

Burnley U18s v Wigan Athletic U18s | U18s Professional Development League | 11am

Tony Philliskirk’s side play their first league match of 2025 this weekend, with Wigan Athletic visiting Burnley Training Centre.

The young Clarets are 2nd in the table with 30 points from their 15 matches to date, while leaders Sheffield United have six points more from a game less.

SUNDAY

Burnley Women v Stourbridge Women | Northern Premier Division of the Women’s National League | 2pm

Following yesterday’s 5-0 victory over AFC Fylde in the Lancashire FA Senior Cup, Burnley Women play their first league match since the middle of November this weekend.

Stourbridge are the visitors to the County Ground in Leyland and the Clarets won the reverse fixture 3-1 back in August courtesy of goals from Brenna McPartlan, Emma Siddall and Laura Elford.

Supporters are encouraged to get behind the team in person, with Burnley season ticket holders able to claim free entry by showing their card on the day. Other adults are £5, while concessions are £2.
