Four Clarets nominated for annual awards with voting now open

Burnley's Josh Cullen, Luca Koleosho, Kirstie Levell and Emma Siddall have all been nominated for awards at the Northwest Football Awards 2024.

Cullen is shortlisted for Premier League Player of the Year at the awards dinner, which is set to take place on Monday 25th November at Emirates Old Trafford.

After playing an integral role in the Clarets' midfield across the last two seasons and winning the Club's Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season in his first campaign at Turf Moor, the Ireland man has began the 2024/25 season in fine fashion once again.

Teammate Luca Koleosho has been recognised in the 'Rising Star' category, as the youngster who turned 20 just last weekend, impressed in his first year in Lancashire in the Premier League, before picking up an unfortunate injury at Wolves in December which ended the forward's season.

The tricky winger has started the current campaign impressively as well, after scoring twice in four of the opening league fixtures that he has featured in.

Goalkeeper Kirstie Levell, who was voted Players' Player of the Year by her teammates last season and won the Women's Player of the Year award, has been nominated for the Women's Player of the Season category.

The former Leicester City shot-stopper joined the Clarets ahead of last season and played 21 games in goal for the Clarets, where her eye-catching displays saw Burnley concede the second least in the entire league this campaign.

Alongside Levell, Siddall makes up the nominations for Burnley, with the defender shortlisted for the Women's Rising Star award.

The defender made the move to Turf Moor in February of this year and the youngster went on to establish herself as a regular in Rebecca Sawiuk's side, featuring in all 10 of their remaining league games.
