Select December's top performer from shortlist of four

The Clarets enjoyed an outstanding run of results in December and now’s your chance to vote for your LoveBet Player of the Month.

Whittling down a shortlist was no easy task after a string of outstanding performances – collectively and individually – helped Burnley go through the month with just one defeat in six games to pull clear of the Premier League’s bottom three.

But we’ve chosen four players for you to select from and vote for your top performer via the poll below.

Not surprisingly, two defenders make the list with three clean sheets chalked up during December as Sean Dyche’s men conceded just three goals in their six matches – including two from the penalty spot.

Central defenders Ben Mee and James Tarkowksi were virtually inseparable and unbeatable for opposition attacks and so they both get a nomination.

And in front of them the whole team worked tirelessly as the Clarets collected three wins and two draws to move up to 16th place in the table at the turn of the year.

Robbie Brady was on target with a fine goal to help secure one of those draws against Everton as he made a welcome return from injury to kick-start an impressive run of games.

And completing the shortlist is midfield colleague Josh Brownhill, who is enjoying the most consistent run of his Clarets’ career, continuing his impressive partnership with Ashley Westwood and topping the Premier League list for interceptions.
