Burnley FC Women’s Third Round Vitality Women’s FA Cup tie against Norwich City Women on Sunday afternoon (11th December) will now take place at the Project Solar Stadium, home of Hyde United, with a 2pm KO.
The tie had initially been scheduled to be at Broadhurst Park, but early inspections showed a frozen pitch with the weather conditions not expected to improve over the course of this weekend.
And having explored all possible availabilities, Hyde’s home proved the best alternative.
Supporters are still welcome on Sunday with prices remaining at a competition minimum £3 for adults with concessions free of charge.
The new venue’s full address is as follows: Project Solar Stadium, Walker Lane, Hyde, SK14 5PL
