Burnley continued their excellent form with a 4-3 win over Norwich City at the training ground to extend their unbeaten run to seven games in all competitions.
Goals from Michael Mellon, Joe McGlynn, Jacob Bedeau and Ne-Jai Tucker meant Burnley leapfrogged Norwich in the Premier League 2 Division 2 table.
Michael Jackson went with an unchanged side from the team that won 3-0 against Sheffield United in the Premier League Cup on Monday.
Burnley got off to a flying start and led after seven minutes, as Joe McGlynn got away in the box and his pinpoint cross was superbly headed home by Michael Mellon for his 12th goal of the season at all levels.
The young Clarets added to the tally five minutes later, this time Ben Woods was the provider and his cross took a nick off a defender before McGlynn got the vital touch from close range.

Tucker went close to a third halfway through the first half when his shot from 25 yards was well saved by City goalkeeper Joe Rose.
Just after the half-hour mark Tucker picked up the ball after an error from the Canaries’ backline, as he fed McGlynn but his effort was comfortably saved by Rose.
Norwich went close themselves ten minutes before the break. Young Scot Tom Dickson-Peters forced a fine diving save from Sam Waller.
City got a goal back just before half-time when Dickson-Peters turned smartly and fired past Waller.
Two minutes after the break the visitors were level when Shae Hutchinson gave Waller no chance with a fine finish into the corner.
On 51 minutes, the hosts were back in front with a superb goal from Jacob Bedeau - his first in Burnley colours. He started the move with a forcing run and stayed up as Owen Dodgson’s delivery evaded everybody. Tucker got a fine cross in from the opposite flank for the former Bury defender to head home.

Halfway through the second half Jon Rowe looked set to equalise but was denied by an outstanding sliding block by Bobby Thomas.
The Clarets restored their two-goal advantage on 69 minutes when a surging run from Dodgson opened up the City defence, as his lay-off found Tucker in space. The winger fired home to continue his superb scoring run with his last kick of the game.
But with six minutes left Dickson-Peters got his second goal of the game with a fine strike from 25 yards to set up a nervy final few minutes.
