Burnley U21s have now learned who they will play in the group stage of this season’s Premier League Cup, having won the competition in 2025/26.
The young Clarets have been drawn in Group E alongside Wolverhampton Wanderers, Fleetwood Town, and Preston North End, and will play each team home and away.
Andy Farrell’s team will start the defence of their trophy at Wolverhampton Wanderers this Friday night coming, before travelling to Fleetwood’s Highbury Stadium next month.
Preston North End will be the opponents in October, before two games in six days against Fleetwood and Wolves in the second half of November.
The group stage will finish with a trip to Preston on Saturday 5th December.
With the tournament now expanding to incorporate 40 teams, the 10 group winners and six best runners up will progress to the knockout phase.
