Tony Philliskirk and his youth team are set for a week-long trip to Scotland as part of their warm-up for the 2022/23 campaign.
Already back in training, the U18s will begin their summer fixtures on Tuesday 12th July against Padiham at the Arbories Memorial Sports Ground.
The Clarets then take on Barnoldswick Town the following Tuesday.
That will mark their last pre-season encounter before embarking on their trip north of the border, spending seven days based at St Andrew’s University.
On Saturday 23rd July, Philliskirk’s side will travel to Scotland for their pre-season trip, stopping off along the way to take on Kilmarnock.
Two games will come during the St Andrew's stay, with Queen's Park (Tuesday 26th July) and Dundee United (Friday 29th July) both providing the young Clarets with a test.
Returning home on Saturday 30th July, Philliskirk's side will then welcome an XI from Millersville University in America to the Burnley Training Centre.
They come to town on Tuesday 2nd August, with a final pre-season match pencilled in for Saturday 6th August. Southampton are the opposition that afternoon with the match being played at the neutral venue of St George’s Park in Burton upon Trent, the home of England's national football teams.
Philliskirk’s side will kick-off their season a week later on Saturday 13th August with fixtures still to be confirmed.
