Youth team assistant manager Ross Wallace will take temporary charge of the Young Clarets over the next few weeks, with boss Tony Philliskirk stepping back from the role while he undergoes a medical procedure.
Wallace – who played over 150 games for Burnley during his own career – has been involved with the U18s since March 2021.
His first game at the helm will come this Saturday, 26th November, away against Sheffield United in U18 Professional Development League action (12pm KO).
Everyone at the Club wishes Tony well, and looks forward to seeing him return as soon as possible.
