Burnley U17s will play Watford in the semi-finals of the U17 Professional Development League Cup on Tuesday 27th February, with kick-off at 12pm.
After topping Group D with seven points from their three matches, the young Clarets beat AFC Bournemouth 5-3 in an entertaining quarter-final at the Burnley Training Centre.
Led by Tony Philliskirk, the team were 3-1 down at halftime but completed a spirited comeback.
Zach Johnson scored a brace, with the other goals coming from Noah Adekoya, Adam Abbas and Benji Wetshi. The U17s group consists of the Club’s first-year scholars.
The game will take place at the UCL Sports Ground, AL2 1BZ.
Because of this news, Burnley U18s’ Professional Development League match against Barnsley, which was scheduled for the same day, has been postponed.
It will now be played at 1pm on Tuesday 30th April at the Burnley Training Centre.
