The U21s’ Premier League Cup semi-final against Queens Park Rangers will take place on Wednesday 30th April.
Kick-off at MATRADE Loftus Road is 7pm, with the young Clarets aiming to continue their fine run in the competition that has included wins over Category One sides Sunderland and Chelsea.
QPR booked their place in the last four with a 3-2 victory over West Bromwich Albion, with Paul Furlong’s producing a battling display to come from behind twice.
Entry will be free for everybody on the night, with a suggested donation to QPR in the Community Trust. The game will also be streamed on QPR+ with full access information to be provided on the week of the tie. Alternatively, you will be able to follow live updates on X @ClaretsAcademy.
Elsewhere, Bolton Wanderers have now been confirmed as our opponents in this year’s Lancashire FA Senior Cup final.
The Whites overcame Barrow, who beat us in the 2023/24 final, last week and will travel to the County Ground in Leyland on Tuesday 29th April.
A penalty shootout victory over Fleetwood Town in the middle of March booked our place in the showpiece event, which will kick off at 7.30pm.
Ticket details for this fixture will be set by the Lancashire FA and confirmed in due course.
