Burnley Football Club can confirm that Tom Tweedy has been recalled from his loan at Morecambe and will spend the rest of the season at National League North side Darlington.
The midfielder originally moved to Burnley from his native Wales in January 2023 and scored 15 goals for Andy Farrell’s U21s last season.
After five months at the Mazuma Mobile Stadium he now links up with Darlington, who are aiming for promotion under the management of ex Premier League player Steve Watson.
Tweedy could make his debut against Chorley this afternoon.
