Burnley Football Club can confirm that Tom Tweedy has signed a month-long loan deal with National League side AFC Fylde.
The move will be the U21s midfielder’s first taste of senior English football, having joined the Clarets from Welsh outfit Penybont in January 2023.
A key part of Andy Farrell’s young Clarets side, Tweedy has scored nine times in 18 appearances this season.
He now continues his development under the leadership of Fylde manager Kevin Phillips and links up with fellow Clarets loanee Will Hugill.
Tweedy could make his Coasters debut when they travel to FC Halifax Town this evening.
