Ne-Jai Tucker believes there are plenty of positives to be taken from the U23s' pre-season trip to Scotland as the Clarets look to end on a high against partner club Ayr United.
The side, currently being led by Michael Jackson, have spent a week based at Stirling University and end their training camp with a friendly against Ayr on Saturday afternoon.
“It’s been good. It’s been a hard week, the weather has been on our side, so training has been good," said wideman Tucker, who has also been lifted by signing a first professional contract at Turf Moor.
“I think all the lads have really got on and everyone has got to know each other better.

“We spend a lot of time together, so it’s been a really positive trip for us all, especially getting to know the new boys better.
“The facilities have class too, a nice swimming pool for recovery, the pitches have been good and some nice gyms for us to use as well.”
Jackson's side lost 4-2 to Rangers B in their first warm-up game on Wednesday and now face Scottish Championship opposition at Somerset Park (KO 1pm).
And Tucker admits the group are looking forward to the challenge of facing a potentially older and more physical side in Ayr, who are already two games into their Scottish League Cup group campaign.

“It’s going to be a tough test so we’re looking forward to that," added the Bermuda youth international.
“It’s always a good experience playing against older and bigger players but all the lads want to finish the trip on a high and get the win before coming home.”
Ayr, one of four clubs who partnered with the Clarets earlier this summer, are admitting some of their season-ticket holders to the game which kicks off at 1pm with full coverage on Twitter (@ClaretsAacdemy).
