The Clarets return to Turf Moor tonight to face Stoke City in a crucial Championship game. Here is the latest Team News ahead of the clash.
Burnley
Republic of Ireland international defender Kevin Long played 70 minutes in Burnley U21's win at Wigan Athletic on Monday. He is getting closer to a return.
Centre back Taylor Harwood-Bellis had a spell on loan at Stoke City last season. He has been an ever-present for Burnley this campaign.
Scott Twine, Darko Churlinov and Ashley Westwood remain absent through injury.
Nathan Tella got Burnley’s goal in the 1-1 draw at the Cardiff City Stadium. It was his fourth goal of the season on his 10th appearance for the Clarets.
Stoke City
Jacob Brown, last season’s top scorer, has been sidelined with a quad injury.
Australian international centre back Harry Souttar is a long-term absentee with an anterior cruciate ligament injury while former Hull City defender Josh Tymon missed the Potters home defeat to Watford with an ankle injury.
Ex-Blackpool man Jordan Thompson also missed Sunday’s game as Stoke followed concussion protocols with the midfielder suffering a knock to the face in Northern Ireland’s defeat in Greece on September 27.
Gavin Kilkenny is on loan from Bournemouth. He hasn’t featured since the home defeat to Sunderland in August because of a groin injury, though Sam Clucas may return tonight after a recent hamstring injury.
