Burnley
Midfielders Jack Cork, Aaron Ramsey and Johann Berg Gudmundsson have all been unavailable in the last couple of weeks but boss Vincent Kompany confirmed last week that the trio are not far off returning respectively.
There are no other fresh injury concerns for the Clarets.
Liverpool
Both Luis Diaz and Konstantios Tsmikas started in Liverpool’s 1-1 draw with Arsenal on the weekend but were both forced off through injury and are both a doubt for the trip to Turf Moor.
Defensive duo Andy Robertson and Joel Matip both remain out with their respective long-term injuries.
Thiago Alacantra and Diogo Jota are both likely to miss the Boxing Day clash with their return likely to come in the New Year.
Midfielder Alexis Mac Allister hasn’t featured since the win over Sheffield United and remains a doubt for this fixture with a knee issue.
